Term 3, Week 6 2017

School finishes at 3pm and the children are expected to either be collected and in the care of an adult OR heading home as per adult instruction. We have an increasing number of children staying around after school - either unsupervised at Hokowhitu Park, which is a practice we consider to be VERY unsafe, or playing handball here at school. If a child is staying at school to play, we need them to have parental supervision - we wouldn’t let them play unsupervised at morning tea or lunch, so after school is no different. Children are always welcome in our grounds out of school hours - WITH ADULT SUPERVISION.

Thanks you for your support to keep our tamariki safe!
