It was fabulous to have such a great turnout of parents/whanau at Monday morning’s assembly. The children really enjoy the chance to perform to an audience. Thanks so much to everyone who came along. Our next assembly will be on Monday the 31st October - TKT will be on the stage and we also have representatives from ASB coming in to launch our reintroduction of ‘school banking’. Everyone is most welcome.
Welcome to Term 4. A very special welcome to our new/returning staff - Robyn Ryder in the Office Manager’s role, Gaylene Thompson in our New Entrant room, and Sue Lynch who is supporting groups.
Welcome to the 7 new students who have started so far this term - with more to come in the coming weeks.
Please try to start your term break with a visit to our Garage Sale TOMORROW morning between 8am and 11am. Cake stall, sizzled sausages and loads of other bargains to buy!
Thanks so much to the many people who have already donated goods, done some baking, had a clean out, and thanks in anticipation of your support tomorrow too!
Next week we are hoping that items to sell at our garage sale will be ‘pouring’ in. Please have that clean out this weekend and bring unneeded items along for us to sell on the 24th September.
Along with regular garage sale items, we will have delicious home baking and freshly sizzled sausages to sell, so do come down and bag yourself some bargains/treats.
Ni hao! Next week is Chinese language week. We currently have 16 students in our school that identify themselves as of Chinese ethnic origin, so hopefully we can all learn something new over the week from these clever people who speak more than 1 language.
