Week 2 - Term 4

At this week’s PTA meeting one of the actions planned for this term is a Friday filled with fun and fitness! For starters it is a mufti day and then at lunchtime there will be jump jam in the hall, ‘wheels’ down on the court, and other sporty activities.
Mark Friday, 13th November on your calendar!
It is another of those mufti days where we say ‘make a donation as big as you can’ as funds raised will be gifted to Ben McCarthy and his whanau. Mr McCarthy loves both fun and fitness - hence this concept.

Week 1 - Term 4

I hope you’ve noticed our fantastic new planter box and seating at the front of the school? When you next pass the library, pop in and enjoy the new carpet!
The orchard isn’t quite fruiting yet, but we are noticing spring growth already!
And of course ......... the turf! Absolutely stunning.

Learners in the Tararua team will be able to be telling their parents about the new sets of iPad minis in their rooms, and a pod of new laptops are on their way for use across the school too.

These exciting things make our school a more appealing place to be for kids! When something looks great, children are more likely to be motivated to come and learn. Thanks so much to our fantastic PTA and BoT who work in tandem to raise the funds and prudently govern the school to allow us to provide the ‘extras’ that help to make this a great place to be for learners.
