Due to this week being a short week, our newsletter is also brief. I trust that you all had an enjoyable Easter break and managed to do some of the things that you like to do on an extended weekend.
Thanks so much to everyone who makes an effort to have the children here at school soon after 8.30am. We value the children having the opportunity to develop independent morning routines that see them ready to start learning when the 8.50am bell goes.
We do discourage arrival before 8.30am (except for the daily road patrollers). This is so that staff can complete preparation and/or attend meetings in order to have them ready to give the children undivided attention on their arrival.
There is also no road patrol or supervision before this time - so safety is an issue. Please remember that everyone arriving before 8.30am needs to wait by the large noticeboard until the 8.30am bell (rather than congregate near the front door, or outside their classroom entry points, or head around to play).
To Jo and John Mullinger (of Advanced Sheetmetals), your unwavering commitment to have our swimming pool up and running is so very much appreciated by us. Thank you for yet another summer of fantastic support.
The pool is now closed for the season. The water is no longer being treated and so it will be unsafe for swimming. Please return your pool key to the office by the end of next week.
Thanks to everyone who has supported the maintenance and care of the pool over the summer months.
Congratulations to the selected Year 5 and 6 students who represented our school at the Interschool Triathlon event earlier this week. This is a truly challenging competition and one that requires absolute perseverance and commitment. Well done to each of you. Our sincere thanks for the fantastic support we received from parents/supporters too!
Today we have hosted teachers and principals from the Stratford/Inglewood Community of Learning. It is always nice to showcase our learners STRIVING to be the best they can be!
