AFTER SCHOOL CARE Dear parent or guardian, I would to take this opportunity to introduce Holiday Fun. Holiday Fun is a company committed to providing Early Bird (before school), After School Care and School Holiday programmes second to none. We are fortunate that the Board of Trustees at Hokowhitu School have allowed us to operate within their school to offer our specialized care programmes. At the end of a tough day at school children are generally hungry, tired and not operating at peak efficiency. This may be where a Holiday Fun centre could be of benefit to you. We have a structure specially designed to cope with hungry and tired children. No, we don't sit them down in front of a TV or computer, rather we harness their talents and energies and together we make the afternoons a pleasant surprise. We supply a nutritious afternoon tea before the programme takes over. Students are also encouraged to join our Homework Company where achievement levels are monitored and rewarded. Students can also join our Pen Pal Club which has over a thousand members. In addition we also have our themed afternoon "fun stations' that have a wide variety of activities to suit children of all ages and gender. In fact, parents in most of our other centres have been known just to put their child in our centres even for their homework to be completed, or just to join in our pen pal club!
