Learning at Hokowhitu School
We believe that our students need to be:
✦ Prepared for a future that we can not predict. Five year olds starting school this year are likely to enter the workforce in 15 years time and will work for at least 40 years.
• What jobs will be available?
• What skills will they need?
• What will they need to need to know?
• What technology will they use that has not yet been invented?
• What knowledge will have been discovered?
• What will the world be like when they retire?
(The answers to these and similar questions are beyond our comprehension.)

✦ We provide “Inquiry Learning” opportunities that make use of children’s natural desire to learn.
